Paul is one of the most prominent people in the gaming business, having been involved since 1994. Charged with strategic development ThrustMaster in Portland, Oregon, he was responsible for developing and maintaining relations with software developers. Additionally, Paul ran a tiger team for research and development of new products, and was instrumental in the ThrustMaster IPO, which raised $10 Million.
Bringing his project management expertise to Interactive Magic in 1996, he was responsible for the production of a number of externally developed projects, including Airwarrior II, Airwarrior III, iF-16, Hind, Fallen Haven, Liberation Day and War Inc. In December of 1998 he joined the fledgling Sinister Games as VP of Production. While at Sinister Games, he oversaw the production of Shadow Company, Soldier, Batman: Gotham City Racer and TWO Dukes of Hazard games. In 2000, Paul was an integral part of Sinister being the first US studio to be acquired by Ubisoft Entertainment. He remained at Sinister as the Managing Director until May of 2003. More recently he was the Senior Producer for Octagon Entertainment creating handheld and console games and won a Parent’s Choice Award for Strawberry Shortcake’s Sweet Dreams PS2 game.
